| 英文描述 | Favus, avian ringworm, is a dermatophytosis that primarily affects gallinaceous birds. The characteristic lesion is a white crusting on the comb and wattles that can extend to the feathered portion of the skin to form scutula around the bases of feather follicles. MICROSPORUM GALLINAE most commonly isolated; M. GYPSEUM, TRICHOPHYTON SIMII, and T. VERRUCOSUM have also been isolated. |
